Ovet sulkeutuvat Ovet sulkeutuvat ("The doors are closing") takes its reader on a tour of fragmentary everyday soundscapes, glimpsing at the psychosphere of Eastern Helsinki in mid-2020s. The narrative is shaped by clusters of panels, dialog and sound effects - there is barely any figurative imagery at all. The album is a headlong excursion into kind-of-documentary comics as well as lightly roasted capitalist realism, brewed for Finnish taste.
